Jewelweed 245

090112

Here is Jewelweed that I saw near some poison ivy. My husband grew up calling them "Touch Me Nots" because when you touched them, the seeds would fly everywhere.  I have heard that whenever there is a poisonous plant somewhere, God has planted an antidote near by. The juice from this flower can be spread on poison ivy rash to relieve the itch. 9/1/12

Assignment: Make a photograph of a plant today. It can be a small one in a pot, a big one in the park, or a tree in a forest., post it then Tag it with #TP298
